Reasons To Switch To Android From Windows Phone
Recently I wrote an article about how Apple can "steal" a few customers from Android.Well,that will be a bit too harsh upon Android,I think.But don;t worry apple fans I am not gonna post the opposite. Obviously,because i think its almost impossible to detach Apple fans from Iphone.So I am gonna post reasons to switch to Android from Windows Phone.
1.Customisation
One of the things about Windows Phone is that it’s designed not to require heavy tweaking like the old Windows Mobile did. Instead, its customizations are designed to be more automated and content-based. For example instead of you having to go in and change a background image for a hub or live tile, things change automatically based on what’s going on. A lot of people still really like all of the power to dig under the hood and change things that other people probably wouldn’t have the time or desire to get into. This is another big reason why many of the old Windows Mobile users, who loved all the customizations they could do, have switched to Android which offers a similarly high level of manual customization options. Of course, you don’t have to tweak everything in Android, but then you might get bored with it pretty quickly.
2.More Apps
This is the gold standard complaint for new operating systems and it’s an especially prevalent mantra for Windows Phone even though in reality Windows Phone may very well support all of the apps you want. Of course there are instances where it does not, and for those you’ll probably have to switch to a different platform like Android.
3.More Features
Android has a lot more “innovative” yet perhaps not so useful features. If you want to be on the cutting edge of experimental stuff, Android is what you need. The whole 3D screens and cameras thing didn’t exactly catch on, but Android certainly had it. Maybe you think it’s cool to move icons around on your screen, by holding your finger on one and then turning your whole body to the left or right. Maybe you want to launch the camera by turning on your phone, holding a finger on the screen, then holding the phone up vertically and rotating it. Or maybe you think pressing a button to make a call is for suckers and would rather just hold the phone up to your head to start a call. There’s so many more of these strange new features coming to Android, where as Windows Phone still keeps things pretty simple and doesn’t add something unless it’s a little more thought-out first.
4.Maturity
Well,everyone needs to admit that WP is still quite young,whereas Android is the elder brother.The project butter in Android has made things smoother and faster.So obviously,if you want an OS with experience,Android is your choice.

How To Prevent Copy or Cut File From Computer to Flashdisk
The steps are as follows:
- Sign in to Regedit (Press Windows key + R and type regedit)
- Sign in to HKEY_LOCALMACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control
- Right-click on the Control folder select New-> Key
- Name the new folder with "StorageDevicePolicies"
- Then right click on the folder with the name "StorageDevicePolicies", and select New-> DWORD
- Give the name "WriteProtect"
- Double click DWORD with the name "WriteProtect", and then change the Value Data to 1
- Restart your computer
- Note: If that takes data from the user computer will display the message *. User to restore it just change the Value Data from key "WriteProtect" to 0

Apple Faces Danger From Android
Android is steadily growing its share almost all over the world and remains the world’s most popular operating system, according to the latest report by UK-based analysts from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech.
The Kantar report focuses on the state of the mobile market in the United States, the UK and Europe as a whole in the third quarter of 2012.
According to the report,Android leads in the United States, but with less. Its commanding 66.4% share has shrunken down to 57.5%, cannibalized by the growth of the iPhone which now has a 35.7% share. Interestingly, RIM has now become less popular than Windows Phone, but both have a very marginal sub-3% representation in the States.
Outside the States, Android is the market leader growing share. In Great Britain, Android controls 58.2% of the market, followed by the iPhone with 28%.In Europe, Android has an impressive 67.1% while the iPhone is a distant second with 16.5%.
Interestingly Kantar thinks that for the week or so of availability, the iPhone 5 has swung the stakes in favor of Apple:“We can see that in markets with a large number of existing Apple customers, sales have already seen a significant boost. We expect this momentum to be fully realized in the next set of results,“ Kantar analyst Dominic Sunnebo said.

Control Your Computer From Your Mobile
Isnt it beautiful, you can control your computer from your mobile phone.
With the help of your phone you can control which song to listen while lying on your bed. All your phone need is Bluetooth or InfraRed or Wi-Fi.
To do so first of all install anyremote. You can also use ganyremote or kanyremote which are graphical frontend for GTK and KDE respectively.
In your Ubuntu Software Center search for anyremote and install it.
Well configure anyremote in server mode, if your phone supports AT mode you may want to try that as well. If you are confused on which mode to choose click here.
Well use Bluetooth for connection.
Make sure that your phone and computer is paired. If you dont know how to, here is a short instruction.
Now run

You can use other configuration file from /usr/share/anyremote/cfg-data/Server-mode/ depending on your need or you can write your own.
Now open the anyremote client on your phone.
- Go to Menu and Click Search.
- It will find your computer and select connect from menu again.
- Depending on your configuration file you can choose action to perform remotely.

You can do it in a very easy single step.
#grep -v ^$ file.conf | grep -v ^#
What it does is grep ^$ from your file. You must be saying I dont have any such character in my file. Actually those characters have their own meaning.
^ begging of the line
$ end of the line
So searching for ^$ means you are searching a blank line.
The -v option invert your search.
So #grep -v ^$ matches all the lines except the blank lines.
Again the pipe | sends those match to another grep command which matches any line begging with #. Then -v option again inverts the match giving you all the lines except comment and blank lines.
If you want the output in a file rather than screen then redirect it,
#grep -v ^$ file.conf | grep -v ^# > newfile

OliPad Tablet PC from Olivetti typewriter manufacturer
Olivetti, known as a typewriter manufacturer, recently released OliPad 100, a tablet PC that comes with its first Android 2.2 Froyo.
In addition to the manufacturers claimed as the Italians first tablet PC, OliPad 100 also offer special features, it at least look at the processor, where OliPad said to have put the dual-core chips made by NVIDIA, the Tegra 2.
Several other features were also become the main capital of this tablet on the market, such as 10 inch screen with 1024 x 600 pixels, 1.3 megapixel camera, as well as USB and HDMI ports. Not only that, OliPad 100 also presents some connectivity features, like 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

Volkswagen has announced a price increase of its popular sedan Volkswagen Vento Diesel by about 2.2%. The price hike has been announced in the wake of rising input costs. The surprising fact is that that the prices of the Petrol variant of Vento have not been revised as yet, rather there are offering an attractive interest rate of 6.99% PA for finance deals on Volkswagen Vento Petrol. One of the primary reasons for keeping the price differential is the increased demand for Diesel cars after the last increase in Petrol Prices in India after which more and more buyers are considering Diesel options of the economy cars to keep their budgets under control.
The Vento diesel has been well accepted in the market since its launch in September 2010. Its quality and drivability have won the Vento many accolades. We want to continue maintaining the same standard and quality for our customers. However, we have seen no relent in the input costs over several months now, which has forced us to increase the cost of the Vento. We are fully aware that customers who prefer the petrol variants are already faced with the burden of increased fuel costs and therefore we have decided to continue absorbing the additional costs for our petrol variants.

K Touch W700 Android Dual Core phone from K Touch
Android Smarthphone domination not only in big vendors such as Motorola, Samsung or Sony Ericsson. One of the mobile phone manufacturers from China, K-Touch, the Android smart phone is also out for the premium class. The design itself looks quite classy and does not emulate handset from global brands. The specifications are very good.
K-Touch W700, thus its name, is actually not the first Android mobile released K-Touch because of the previous K-Touch has also been issued a K-Touch W606 with OS Android.
K-Touch W700, looks promising if you view the processor is Nvidias Tegra 2 dual core processors. Though the processor is still rarely used by large vendors though.
Other specifications K-Touch W700 are also quite good with a capacitive screen WVGA 3.8-inch, rear 5-megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM and 8 GB internal memory. Wearing Android OS 2.2 Froyo.
But unlike most China made mobile phone manufacturers are usually cheap, K-Touch W700 tag is quite expensive unlike K-Touch W606 sold pretty cheap. K-Touch W700 will be sold in China with China Unicom operator, with a price of U.S. $ 540.
