Android JellyBean 4 1 Vs iOS 6 User Interface

User Interface

Lockscreens

Well, most of you people are aware of the main difference between Android and iOS -customization vs ease of use.Well, first of all, when you turn your phone on you go to the lockscreen.Well the lockscreens in both the platforms are very different. In Iphone you get the typical Slide to unlock lockscreen, whereas in case of android jellybean you will be confronted with the drag to unlock lockscreen.However.there is one major difference -in case of iOS you are restricted to the Slide to unlock feature whereas in android you will get a whole bunch of third party lockscreens that you can install, thus enhancing your experience.
 Check out Android Lockscreen Alternatives

User Interface

Well after the lockscreen comes the user interface. In iOS 6 you are once again presented with the plain icons. In case of android once again it is all about customization. One thing that I noticed is that folders open faster in jellybean than iOS ,maybe because of project butter.

Notification Area

Well in this case it is almost a tie only a slight edge to android because of more allowance of choices in this area.

Top 4G speed smashed with 1 4 Gbps mobile call

52 commercial LTE customers around the world – more than any other vendor – Nokia Siemens Networks is familiar with 4G leadership. But even its mobile broadband experts were impressed when they earlier this month achieved world record data speeds exceeding 1.4 Gbps using an LTE-Advanced (4G) system on 100 MHz of aggregated spectrum.

The calls, involving huge file transfers and HD video streaming, hit peaks of 1.429 Gigabits-per-second. Although not aiming to replicate the feat in Barcelona, the breakthrough supports the company’s claim to being the mobile broadband specialist at Mobile World Congress 2012.

“Moments such as these only come once,” said Marc Rouanne, the company’s head of Network Systems. “Taking advanced technologies – such as LTE-Advanced – to a higher level is hugely satisfying. This work shows the potential for operators moving to LTE and beyond to deliver ubiquitous mobile broadband that truly delights people. The fact that this world record has been achieved using our commercial Flexi Multiradio 10 Base Station is just another proof of our platforms’ superior capacity.”

“At Mobile World Congress we’re showcasing leading innovations in our Liquid Net portfolio, as well as in customer experience management, all made to work seamlessly by the expertise of our services teams. Today’s 4G world record and everything we do at the event underscores our focus on leadership in mobile broadband. It’s this focus that our customers will take away from their visits to our Experience Center,” Rouanne said.

Android jellybean 4 1 Vs iOS 6 Social Integration

‘Mobile’ and ‘social,’ walk hand in hand, and phone makers know how much social networks matter to the masses. Last year iOS 5 had Twitter integration and Apple added Facebook integration this year, to make the iOS 6 completely socially integrated. Jelly Bean follows suit, and you get integrated social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox, Picasa, its own Google+, and more.

Seemingly, Google offers more integration, and yes of course it is also trying to pimp its Google+.  Apple has also integrated the two most popular social networks.

4 Alternatives to Google AdWords

Many think that Google AdWords is the only tool dedicated and available to perform a study such as a keyword search, but it isnt so, today I refute this idea by collecting some alternatives that, although are not equal to Google AdWords, at least encourage us to make good keyword analysis for the SEO of our website.

alternatives to google adwords

Going back a bit, for those unfamiliar with the main features and tools of Google AdWords, we can find a very simple interface yet complete in every sense.

- AdWords appearance has changed, however there is a chance of returning to the old design;
- allows you to place a phrase or keyword, a web site and use the categories;
- for a better keywords search, you can apply filters such as location, language and add custom fields (competition, local or global monthly searches, CPC, Ad share, etc.);
- displays keyword ideas in columns with the amount of local and global monthly searches and approximate CPC;
- you can download keyword ideas, search results in a format to open with Excel.

Having recalled and refreshed the memory a little with the characteristics of AdWords, now it is time to learn about other options both free and paid.

Google AdWords Alternatives

Bing Webmaster Tools: Bing may not be the tool that we had first thought of, however it wants to provide the best conditions for studying keywords.

After we register, to access the tool, go to Diagnostics & Tools and click on the second option on the list:Keyword Research.
SEMRush: Other freemium alternative that displays a very complete report of a particular keyword or website. However, it has limitations and if you opt for a PRO recurring plan you need to pay a monthly membership from $69.95 per month.

Ubersuggest: This nice and simple online tool searches keywords suggestion as well as potential titles for an article. Personally, I recommend it 100%.

Keyword Eye: If you are looking to perform a keyword research on a particular region, Keyword Eye will be your help. It also has the option of requesting the display of search volume or AdWords competition and a full report of anchor text, keywords and domain.

At first it offers a free plan with limitations and to enjoy all other benefits, we have to pay $9.99 per month.

4 Tips for Becoming a Blogging Networking Machine

I get over 10,000 daily page visits on my blog. I network like mad. So I snag that many visits. If I did not network at all I might as well write a diary.

Blogging is creating value and networking. Talented bloggers with no network struggle to make money blogging or to even attract a few readers.

Networking machines who might not be talented bloggers usually make money blogging because their massive network of friends trust them.

Example
Observe the most successful people on earth: Bill Gates, Donald Trump, Warren Buffet. Each person builds a massive network of friends to aid them. To inspire them. To promote them.
When you have a gazillion people on your side life becomes so much easier. 10, 100 or 1,000 other bloggers promote your content. Which is how I get 10,000 page visits on a daily basis.

So how do you build a massive blogging network?

Build Blogging Network

1# Be a Friend to Become a Friend
Be a friend. Support people you meet. Be nice. Be helpful. Be a friend. This is simple. This simple act sets the foundation for a prospering relationship.
How do you treat offline friends? Well treat your online blogging friends the same way. Help. Go above and beyond to support your friends.

2# Create Comments like Content
The easiest way to make an impact in minutes is to read a blog post and create a memorable, valuable, piece of content with your comments. You will stand out from the crowd and make a ton of friends.
Comments can be your best friend in the networking department. Bloggers love receiving comments. Awesome comments? Well heck, you will have a blogger friend for life if you post 3-4 paragraph masterpieces on their blog, because each comment is a piece of content.

This means that search engines love crawling sites and seeing many insightful comments. Active, engaging blogs do well in search engines which of course spikes your blog traffic quickly.

3# Create Guest Posts for Buddies
I reached out to Ankit to see if he needed me to write a guest post. He did. So I churned this out. Here I am, making buddies with his audience and strengthening my relationship with Ankit too.

My network grows stronger and guess what? Guest posting benefits me too. Win-win situation here. I expand my presence and boost my blog traffic while providing Ankit with helpful, relevant content for his blog.
So our friendship grows stronger, my network expands and both parties win.
Be aggressive on the guest posting front to become a real networking machine. Famous entertainers network like mad, collaborating with other singers. Same deal with guest blogging. Showing up everywhere makes you memorable.

4# Open Up Your Blog to Guest Posting
This one is tough to follow for many bloggers. Perfectionists or selfish people want all the publicity for themselves. Unfortunately, selfish, greedy people make few friends in this world.
Generous people become networking machines. Because generous people are popular; we all love free givers.
I have roughly 20 guest posters on my blog. More are hopping on board quickly though as I sort through my email and field requests.

Hey, who WOULDN’T want to post on a blog that gets 10,000 page visits daily? And if I allow people to post, to share my platform, I am going to meet more, and more people, and my network grows, and my page visits will jump on autopilot as I simply review, hit “Publish”, and my network grows again.

Micromax and Karbonn, both have almost similar kind of journey since their respective inception in the homeland. Both have gained significant success in the Indian smartphone market and are considered as neck to neck competitors. Hence, the competition between the recently launched Micromax Canvas 4 and Karbonn S9 is going to be very interesting. We are plotting here the comparative analysis of the two smartphones.

Micromax Canvas 4 specifications
· Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system
· 5 MP Secondary Camera
· 13 MP Primary Camera with Sony sensor
· GPRS, EDGE, 3G and Wi-Fi support enabled

micromax canvas 4

· Full HD Recording
· 2000 mAh battery
· 16 GB of internal storage space with up to32 GB expansion through micro SD card
Micromax Canvas 4 comes with anodized aluminum body which is not just robust but also looks very smart. The keys are made of aluminum and it feels quite premium and offers better feedback. It comes in Grey and White color. The device is priced at Rs 17,399 and with its amazing camera capability, screens size and battery power, it is set to look beyond its league.

While its 5 MP secondary camera works fantastic during Skype chat sessions, its primary camera can give beautiful panoramic views, if moved smoothly across the area. Its price economy is a factor that you can not ignore. This was the reason because of which the device got huge response during the pre-sale.

Karbonn S9 specifications
· 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor
· 5.5 Inch HD IPS Touch screen Display
· Dual SIM Support
· 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory with slot for extension up to 32 GB

karbon-s9

· 3G, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth and USB
· Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
· 2600 MAh Battery

This is the fourth launch under Karbonn’s mid-ranged smartphone under Titanium series which has done decently for the brand. Many have alleged that there is not much difference between Canvas 3 and 4. However, it is for the first time that Karbonn has come up with HD IPS screen for its smartphones and the quality of display looks much better than its predecessors.

The market price for the phone is Rs 19,990. To make the deal more interesting, the company is offering a free flip cover along with the purchase of this smartphone. On the specification front, it scores well over Canvas 4. Its battery life and bigger screen gives it an upper edge in the competition. Both devices use similar versions of Android, hence score the same on this front.

Ipad 4 Twice As Fast

iPad 4 benchmarks are out, A6X chip runs at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM inside

When Apple officially unveiled the fourth generation iPad, it boldly stated that the new CPU  will provide twice the processing power over the previous one. Well, it looks like it was true, as the tablets benchmark scores show. The iPad 4 with its A6X SoC managed to score 1757 points on Geekbench, which is a 111% increase in raw computations performance over the A5X running inside the third-gen iPad. In comparison, the iPhone 5, sporting an A6 chip scored 1571 points, while the iPad 2 with its A5 SoC got 780 points.

iPad 4 benchmarks vs the iPad 3, iPad 2, and the iPhone 5

While the A6 chip inside the iPhone 5 has been proven to be a dual-core SoC clocking at 1.3GHz, the New iPad with Retina Display (that is the fourth generation Apple slate) takes that further with an Apple A6X chip inside.  The A6X chip, by construction, adds another graphic core for a total of four (opposed to three on iPhone 5′s A6 SoC).. As far as memory is concerned, the tests confirm that the iPad 4 has 1GB of RAM, just as much as the iPad 3 and the iPhone 5 have.

These smartphones have been named Lava Iris 503 and Lava Iris 352e. They are available at the price of Rs. 8,990 and Rs. 4,290 respectively. Lava Iris 503
Lava-Iris-503

Lava Iris 352e
Lava-Iris-352e
  • It sports a capacitive touch display of 3.5 inches with 320 x 480 pixels resolution.
  • It has been powered by a dual core processor of 1 Giga Hertz.
  • It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
  • It comes with a 256 MB RAM, 512 MB internal memory and up to 32 GB expandable memory.
  • It features a rear camera of 2 mega pixels and front facing camera of 0.3 mega pixels.
  • It offers connectivity features, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 2G.
  • It has been equipped with a battery of 1450 mAh.

Our Take: Both the devices are pretty decent in terms of features as well as price. But the point is that there’s nothing compelling enough in either of them to give them an edge over the competition. You can get other budget quad core devices for the price of the Iris 503 but the cheaper sibling, the Iris 352e surely puts a decent case forward in its favour.

Lego Minifigs Series 4 Kimono Girl

I originally didnt intend to get the Kimono Girl.  The Rangerlord wanted her but not me.

I had stumbled upon boxes of series 4 late in the game and already the minifigs I thought were going to be rare were sold out.  At least according to the friendly salesperson at the specialty Lego store I was in.  So I couldnt get the Musketeer, nor the Mad Crazy (politically correct) Scientist.  And I couldnt find her either for the Rangerlord.

But I snapped her up the moment Rangerlord and I chanced upon her at Toys R Us/  She was, after all, a sought after figure in the initial boxes that came into stores locally.  RL already found himself one, of course.  For the girls (aka his daughters). ;)

Of course, I too couldnt resist. It would go well with my Ninja and Samurai from the previous waves, he said.  We influence each other too much.

Like: The extra paint detail of flowers in her hair.  Shes also got a nifty new fan and a brand new white colored complexion for her face, complete with painted lips.  Her hands are white to match.  She also fits very nicely with the Samurai and the Ninja.  Fans of the whole feudal Japanese feel now have a complete mini set of three figures. Yay!

Dislike: That she doesnt have legs.  I know, I know, how can she, since shes wearing a voluminous dress, right?  I guess its just the action figure collector is me--the more moving parts the better.  Thats not to say she doesnt look like shes wearing a dress and looking feudally gorgeous, because thats exactly what she s doing!

Minifig Rating: 7.5/10 - She gets a lower rating than The Frankestein Monster and Benicio del Toro the Werewolf because shes a girl slightly less articulated than I would like.  Not that Lego Minifigs can pose like Revoltechs.  But at least they can sit, stand on one leg, or look like theyre walking if they have legs.  The Kimono Girl cant but that just means she cant really fall over either.  Who needs that stand?  Not her, certainly.  But the fact is this: shes got excellent paint and such refreshing dress and skin colors not always seen in Lego minifigs.  Im just a little biased because I like me my articulation. ;)

A wise ranger(lord) once told me that Legos had a lot less girl minifigs than guy minifigs.  And this is something you wouldnt notice unless youre a big-ass girl minifig perv you have daughters who are also crazy about Legos, as the Rangers are. The good thing?  Hes made me aware of it.  The greater thing though, is that hes just added a third child and third girl to his family on the 29th of last month, just ten days after my boy came along.  Yes, I know, hes too weak-kneed to produce male offsrping but let me be the first to say on Chase Variant: Congratulations, Rangerlord, on baby Amber!  Because of you, Female Minifigs will always remind me of you and your girls! ;)

Heres to more females in Lego!

The Gooapple iPhone 4 perfect imitation of the iPhone 4

Gooapple  iPhone 4, hearing the name of the course we will know that this product has nothing to do with the Apple iPhone. Yeah right, Gooapple iPhone 4 is a clone of iPhone 4

The Gooapple iPhone 4 comes with a form that is really similar to the iPhone 4, and even user interface was also the same as the iPhone 4. Its been a lot of imitation of Apples iPhone product, but the Gooapple  iPhone 4, bright publicly trying to distance the line where the copyright violations were directly involved, such as the use of a protected logo or mascot. However, it appears that certain clones of this smartphone manufacturer has decided to dump all the notions of copyright infringement in the trash in an effort to create a clone as realistic as possible looking for.

Gooapple iPhone 4According to the GizChina website, The Gooapple iPhone 4 smartphone is an almost picture-perfect clone of Apples bestselling iPhone 4. And the similarities between the Gooapple and the real iPhone 4 also extends to the hardware specifications just like the original iPhone 4, the Gooapple clone features two cameras at resolutions of both five megapixels (rear) and 1.3 megapixels (front). Of course, users should not expect it to come with the same processor or display found in the real deal: the Gooapple utilizes a weaker MTK5616 processor clocked at 480MHz, while the touchscreen display is only capable of a native 480 x 320 resolution.

That being said, it should be of little surprise that the Gooapple iPhone 4 does not run off Apples iOS operating system. Rather, GizChina is reporting that the Gooapple will come bundled with a vanilla copy of version 2.2 (aka Froyo) of Googles Android operating system.

The Gooapple iPhone 4 is reportedly available for pre-order now at the discounted price of 999 yuan or US$152, although we should point out that this phone is unlikely to ever see the light of day outside of Chinas domestic market.
