Synology Announces DS710 NAS Server
Synology UK, leaders in open source network attached storage solutions announced today the DiskStation DS710+ aimed primarily at SMB and home enthusiast users. Shipping with Synologys award winning DiskStation Manager 2.2 web-interface, the DS710+ can be set up and configured within minutes without the requirement of extensive technical knowledge.
"As far as a small or medium business is concerned, the DS710+ ticks all the right boxes," exclaimed Victor Chiang, Sales and Marketing Director, Synology UK. "Smaller than the size of a shoe box, the DiskStation is powerful, secure and reliable enough to cope with the majority of a companys backup, IT and internet requirements at a low initial cost outlay and on-going running costs."

LG N2B1 NAS With Blu Ray Burner
Unlike most Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices, LG’s latest N2B1 boasts a built-in Blu-ray burner for archiving data from up to 50 gigabytes into Blu-ray disc. The device features two hard drive bays, a memory card reader (SD/XD/MMX/MS), 3x USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA port, Gigabit Ethernet and is compatible with PCs, Macs and Linux machines. Not to mention, it also supports iTunes music sharing, BitTorrent client, network printer sharing, hot swappable drives and is DLNA certified. The LG N2B1 sells for $299.99 for the 500GB model.
