Google finally released a video showing the appearance of the upcoming version of the operating system Android, Android version 3.0 or called Honeycomb. Reportedly this version is only for the tablet.

Honeycomb Android is the next version of the Android platform, designed from the ground up for devices with larger screen sizes, especially tablets. Weve spent a lot of time perfecting the user experience in the Honeycomb, and we have developed a new user interface, completely virtual and holographic. Many features of Android is going to really shine in the Honeycomb: Access smooth multitasking, notice an elegant, for more than 100,000 applications on the Android Market, home screen customization with new 3D experience, and widgets redesigned a richer and more interactive. We also made some strong upgrade to a Web browser, including tab browsing, auto-fill forms, synchronize your bookmarks with Google Chrome, and incognito mode for private browsing.

Previously, Motorola had to present a video about the presence of Xoom. Where in the video, Motorola claims tablets greater than Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab.




Looking at the specifications, Motorola Xoom is quite extraordinary. With dual-core 1GHz processor and 1GB of DDR2 DRAM, Motorola Xoom also has two cameras. Rear-resolution 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD recording capability and the front 2-megapixel camera. From this perspective, Xoom is superior compared to the Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Motorola Xoom screens that of 10.1-inch has a resolution of 1280x800 pixels, better than iPad and Galaxy Tab. Then users can also enjoy the video quality of 1080p HD. Included is also version 5.0 Google Maps with 3D interaction, built-in gyroscope, a barometer, e-compass, and accelerometer.

Motorola Xoom be the first tablets which are marketed by directly adopting Android Honeycomb or the so-called version 3.0 is rumored very suitable to be applied on the tablet compared to previous versions of Android.
